New Features

Local Metadata Domains on Topics and Zones

Metadata domains (facet domains) can now be defined locally on a topic or zone, not only at site level. Site domains can also be pushed down for use in topics. This makes it easier to model structured data close to where it is used.

Import of Topics and Metadata Domains

Phonemos Archives can now import whole topics and their metadata domains. Domain import includes conflict detection and a resolution UI; unsupported or unknown field types surface as warnings or errors instead of failing silently.

You can import content directly on a topic, including from the main import screen. After a topic archive import, you can set permissions and location in the UI.

Custom Icons

Objects can now use custom icons (including navigation menu items). This helps teams visually distinguish topics, zones and other objects in the tree and menus.

Visual Page Diffs

Page comparison now shows widgets and images. A visual compare mode makes revision differences easier to review; Escape closes the diff view. Text-mode diffs also cover images.

• Sort children from the topic level (hover menu on the topic header).

• Zones can hide their contents in the tree (with a distinct icon for opaque zones) and have a zone start page.

Editing and Widgets

• PlantUML, Math and Mermaid: better empty-state height, fullscreen preview/sizing, Mermaid scaling.

• Draw.io / PlantUML editors close with Escape and Ctrl/Cmd+S.

• Date pickers: year navigation arrows; language fixes.

• Excel files can be added inside Expand macros.

• Widget renders can be regenerated via a backend action (including cleanup of orphan renders).

Fixes

• Scrollbar clickable again next to side indicators and notes.
